What information does 2IIM collect from its students?

2IIM collects information from its students when they visit our website, and make a purchase online through our website. We need this information to process the order:

Personal Information
Name, Mobile No. and Shipping Address:
We need this information to ship the material to you.

Email ID:
Order confirmations, and Online Course Activation and Mock CAT Account Activation require a student’s Email ID.

Account Information
We do not collect or store information relating to a student’s credit card, or net-banking information. This information is provided directly to our Payment Gateway, Citrus Pay, which also provides the security for online transactions.

Cookies
Our website uses cookies to enhance the visitor’s experience. These collect non-personal information such as a student’s computer’s I.P address, your Internet Service Provider, the browser that you use, and so on. Visitors can choose to disable cookies in the settings of your browser, but doing so may cause some features of this website, to malfunction. Certain elements, like Google Analytics, and our Facebook Like Buttons, also make use of cookies.

How does 2IIM use the information we collect?

2IIM uses your information for the following purposes:
1. To maintain your user accounts in our Online Course Platform and Mock CAT Account Platform. Obviously, to track your progress in preparation, to maintain assessments of your performance in quizzes and Mock CATs, you will need to maintain your own account. To create your account, we will be using your personal information.
2. 2IIM shares questions, updates and news about the CAT with students who sign up for our Google Groups. Joining our Groups is voluntary, and students may choose to leave the Group at any time.
3. Students can leave queries through an email from our Chat Widget. We will use this email only for responding to any questions that you might have for us, and for no other purpose.
4. Students can leave their Mobile Nos. with us when they register to attend our Demo Classes. We will give you a ring back to confirm a date that works for you so you can attend our Classes.
5. 2IIM shares updates with students who register for a free account for our Online Course. Students can choose to unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time.
6. 2IIM uses aggregated non-personal information from cookies, in the form of number of visitors, visitor locations, platforms (mobile or desktop) etc. to improve visitor experience, and feedback for developing the website. This information is anonymous.

2IIM Does not share any personal information with Third Parties.

2IIM does not advertise for third parties in our website, and will not host links that redirects the visitor to third-party websites. The link-outs from our website are to our own content, in blogs, or our Facebook or G+ page etc.
